Reginald Carson

reginaldPrior to becoming Stylistocrat by R&R Managing Partner, Reginald Carson served as Chief Executive Officer for A Beau Consultant (Miami, FL), and worked as Executive Vice President for Model Development with entertainmentINDUSTRY based out of New York City.

Reginald is a driving force behind the Stylistocrat by R&R brand with over 17 plus years of experience in the retail apparel industry including sales, buying and management. Reginald has worked with companies such including: Jack Victor & Hugo Boss prior to founding Stylistocrat by R&R.

In 2007 Reginald was nominated to Esquire Magazine Best Dressed Real man.

Reginald was also a recipient and honoree, in the 2007 & 2009 Who’s Who in Atlanta.

Reginald holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law from Elizabeth City State University.

 

Robert Lockett

robertRobert Locket is managing partner for Stylistocrat by R&R. Robert’s luxury retail experience spans a timeframe of 10 years, developing relationships with wholesale vendors and luxury retail department store and specialty boutiques.

Robert has worked as a Senior Sales Professional with renowned jewelry maker Tiffany& Co., where he conducted the Men’s Jewelry accessories line. Prior to his experience at Tiffany& Co., he served as a consultant for men’s specialty boutique Studio 281, in Atlanta, Ga, a leader in men’s suiting and accessories for more than 35 years.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University.


 

Al-Karim Powell-Darensburg

44495_458103867999_663127999_6325013_8261547_nBrooklyn born, New York native, Al-Karim Powell-Darensburg has worked in the fields of Music, Fashion and Entertainment for the last 20 years. Over this time he has trained models, assisted in developing new designers and worked with numerous recording artist and celebrities in the capacity of artist development director, manager, and consultant.

Mr. Powell-Darensburg had the unique privilege of building the first wardrobe department for Black Entertainment Television (BET), where he worked as a fashion stylist for all on-air personalities and performing guest. While at BET he also worked for the Children’s and Entertainment Television for such shows as Teen Summit and Caribbean Rhythms.

As a visual merchandiser, he has created scenes and campaigns for stores such as Macy’s, The Hecht Company, Benetton, Oaktree, Boyvie Studio’s, ChicWear-NY and Style vs. Freedom.

Over the last 20 years he has perfected the talents of photography, make-up artistry and fashion styling. He is a graduate of the world-renowned, Parsons School of Design with a background in Fashion Design. Al-Karim is the founder of the entertainmentINDUSTRY Agency (www.entindustry.com).

Mr. Powell-Darensburg volunteers his time to train young adults in Jr. High, High School and College in the entertainment industries. He enjoys being a mentor and a positive role model for young minds.
