HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA…THE REAL VERSION!!!
August 22, 2011
So recently we’ve been on this kick of telling everyone we can to catch up on HBOGo or On-demand and watch HBO’s show “How to Make it in America”… funny, quirky, and downright authentic about 2 NYC kids who want to make it big! What’s their kick??? Easy, it’s DENIM, DENIM, DENIM!!!! A fictional brand name “Crisp” and their style is what drive the show.

Anyway…it got us to thinking. We know there had to be a real life story out there. Where is the real Crisp Jeans??? Well Stylistocrats, we found our real version. It’s a small Atlanta based business that is fast becoming the latest “IT” thing in denim fashion. With celeb clients like Lebron James (who is always seen in em) we figured you needed to know about them. Who are they???? Quite simple, its…
Strivers Row & Company

From designer/owner Jason Geter and Emmett Harrell, Strivers Row is one of our favorites when it comes to denim. Drawing inspiration from the 1920s and 1930s, the clothing collection pays homage to American history and is designed to respect both the past and the present. We love their jeans, which feature a unique wash, super soft Japanese Selvedge denim and detailed hardware. You can visit them at… http://www.striversrowusa.com and if you’re in Atlanta, tell em Stylistocrat by R&R sent ya!
P.S. – We gotta get one of their bags!!!!!!!!!!!
