GENTLEMEN, TIME TO GET YOUR SHOE GAME RIGHT!!!
December 19, 2011
Sooooo…. Lets talk…. Mezlan Shoes!!!!
Traditionally, footwear has been a staple in Fashion. To have the proper content from head to toe, the shoes can make or break the look. Luckily, Mezlan Shoes blends the tradition of quality hand-made footwear with style, comfort, and sophistication.
Mezlan, a Spanish Shoe Maker, has made men’s footwear since 1968. Mezlan got its start as a wholesale company, distributing its footwear to smaller shoe outlets, then finally to big box luxury retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom.
Recently, Mezlan has ventured into the retail market, opening Mezlan brand stores in Las Vegas, Atlanta, and the D.C. Metropolitan Area. The secret to Mezlan’s success is its shoemaking technique, which has long been a coveted trade secret. What we do know is that all of the burnish techniques, stains, and finishing are all done by hand. This approach creates individual “pieces of art”, because no two pair looks exactly the same.
Mezlan has taken many creative liberties with its most recent looks. Known for its high quality exotic skins in crocodile, lizard, ostrich, and alligator, Mezlan has done a variety of experimentation with mixed mediums; fusing calf skin in some of its exotic offerings for an updated spin on tradition. This has created frenzy in the men’s footwear marketplace, with makers like Magnanni, Santoni, and Moreschi looking to follow suit. Take a look at the latest fall fashions!

Meet the Copa, a stylish look spin on the traditional winged-tipped shoe. With Borouge perforated detail, hand burnished toe and heel detail, this winged-tipped shoe is fully loaded. Notice the detail in the stitching throughout the vamp and heel. Wear it with all shades of brown, navy, or if you are feeling really sartorial, pull it off with a grey suit.

Here is the Nello. A Chocolate Suede, Double Monk-Strap creation that is killer, casual or dressed. We definitely recommend versatility with this look, achieved by mixing mediums, such as flannel, wool, and cashmere.
With a diversified collection of Mezlan’s, you too can look like a certain Atlantic City “Treasurer”… Unfortunately, the City of Atlanta does not come with every pair.

As always…we want you to Stay Stylistocratic! See you in 2012!
