I know everyone in the North is welcoming Spring’s arrival with open arms! So why not be prepared with this list of Spring ‘11 essentials no matter where you are in the country. This list will ease you into the trends of the season, you should never feel overwhelmed to take on every trend.

1. Cat Eye Sunglasses. I welcome this new trend to sunglass land! I was getting bored with the same shapes year after year. If you’re ready to invest in the trend with a pair that you’ll still like come next year, I love these Tom Ford glasses. If you’re on the fence and just looking to test the waters give these Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses a test run.

2. Out of all of the colors shown on the Spring ‘11 runways I’m pushing Coral the hardest! I believe that every skin tone can truly work this shade! Love this Ruby Mimosa Dress for under $50 from ModCloth. The vintage inspired print is also on trend. Win, win!

3. I know I may be alone on this one, but I’m loving flatforms! My little fashion forward heart knows these probably won’t take off until next Spring, if ever, but I love them and will be wearing them this year!

4. Neon, neon, neon! I have no problem wearing these colors year round, but I know a lot of people feel more comfortable in them once they have a tan. Get a head of the game throw some bronzer on and sport this fun trend now!

5. And last put not least, denim! Denim was everywhere on the Spring runways. I kind of laugh when I read denim listed as trend because to me it is timeless and just a staple in any wardrobe, but why not use this as a time to pick up some new pieces!
